Here are just a few ways you can get involved in Pink Menno RIGHT NOW:

1. Educate yourself.  If you know LGBTQ Mennonites, ask them to share with you their story.  Listen and learn.  Search out resources that address the questions you have – see the “Resources” page on this website for a place to start.

2.  Read and sign An Open Letter to Mennonite Church USA. Then email 5 people whose names you don’t see on the list and tell them to sign it!

3. Join our online planning/support community – click on “Pink Menno Network” above for more information.

4. Tell 5 Mennonite friends or family members about Pink Menno, whether or not you think they’ll support it. Explain why you support it and why you think it’s important.

5. Plan to take part in being a positive witness for LGBTQ inclusion  in your congregation on October 11th, National Coming Out Day.  Click here for more details.

6. Are you a musician or songwriter?  Share your original music as part of the “One Voice Music Project,” a project to release a CD by LGBTQ and LGBTQ-friendly Mennonite-related artists celebrating the spirit and struggle of LGBTQ people in the church.  For more info, visit the One Voice Music Project page.  Pass along word of this project to any musicians you think would be interested.

7. Wear pink! Explain why you’re wearing pink when people ask.  See the “Pink Gear” tab above if you want to purchase t-shirts, bandanas, bracelets, or more to display our message.

8. Donate to Pink Menno to support the planning and organizing that we’re doing now.
